The Role
We are looking for an Applications Engineer – Food Ingredients Solutions to join our Commercial Team. This is a client-facing role that requires independent problem-solving, technical expertise, and the ability to manage field projects with minimal oversight. You’ll partner with business development to design and implement solutions, conduct process audits, troubleshoot complex systems, and ensure client success.
What You’ll Do
- Own technical engagements with clients, from scoping to implementation.
- Conduct audits, data analysis, and field demonstrations.
- Troubleshoot membrane systems and provide hands-on solutions.
- Present findings and recommendations to both clients and internal teams.
- Travel regularly (~50%), primarily in the US with occasional international trips.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years in food ingredients process operations (dairy, starch, sweetener, bioprocessing) – required.
- Strong knowledge of process membranes and membrane systems.
- Proven ability to work independently in client environments.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science (e.g., Chemical, Food) required.
