Singapore – June, 16 2026 – Acuriant Technologies, Inc. and PureGen Classic Sdn. Bhd. have signed a contract for a semiconductor wastewater reclamation project in Malaysia, reinforcing their shared commitment to advancing sustainable water management solutions for the region’s rapidly expanding high-tech manufacturing sector.
The contract was signed by Jürgen von Hollen, Chief Executive Officer of Acuriant Technologies Inc, and KC Loh, Chief Executive Officer of PureGen Classic Sdn. Bhd. at Singapore International Water Week 2026.
The project will utilize Acuriant’s advanced ceramic ultrafiltration technology to support the reclamation and reuse of wastewater generated from semiconductor manufacturing operations. As Malaysia continues to strengthen its position as one of Southeast Asia’s leading semiconductor hubs, manufacturers are increasingly focused on improving water resilience, enhancing operational efficiency, and meeting evolving sustainability objectives.
Acuriant’s ceramic membrane technology is particularly well suited to demanding industrial applications due to its durability, chemical resistance, and ability to consistently deliver high-quality treated water under challenging operating conditions. These capabilities make ceramic ultrafiltration an increasingly preferred choice for critical water reuse applications where reliability and long-term performance are essential.
“We are delighted to strengthen our collaboration with PureGen through this important project,” said Jürgen von Hollen, Chief Executive Officer of Acuriant Technologies. “Water sustainability and resource efficiency are becoming strategic priorities for the semiconductor industry. Together, we aim to provide solutions that help manufacturers reduce their environmental footprint while maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence.”
KC Loh, Chief Executive Officer of PureGen Classic Sdn. Bhd., added, “PureGen has always been committed to delivering the right technologies and solutions to address our customers’ evolving needs. Our collaboration with Acuriant reflects our dedication to bringing innovative and reliable water treatment solutions to Malaysia’s industrial sector and supporting our customers in achieving their sustainability goals.”
As water scarcity and sustainability become increasingly important considerations for advanced manufacturing industries, effective water reclamation and reuse have emerged as critical components of long-term operational resilience. Through this collaboration, Acuriant Technologies and PureGen aim to contribute to a more sustainable future by enabling industries to recover valuable water resources and optimize their environmental performance.
