Boston, 2 June 2026 — Acuriant Technologies, Inc. will exhibit at Singapore International Water Week (SIWW) 2026 from 15 to 19 June at Marina Bay Sands, where the company will launch its new Containerized CUF System and present two technical papers at the SIWW Water Convention.

Shortlisted as Water Technology Company of the Year by GWI for 2026 in recognition of sustained product innovation, Acuriant has grown its Nanostone ceramic ultrafiltration portfolio from one module to three, each engineered around a different operating priority: CUF|Shield for high-solids, high-fouling source water, CUF|ShieldPlus for complex industrial streams including semiconductor fab wastewater, and CUF|Flow for high-capacity deployments.

The company’s separation and filtration platforms now span more than 450 installations worldwide, including CUF|ShieldPlus deployments at more than 50 semiconductor fabrication facilities.

Containerized CUF System launch

The Acuriant Containerized CUF System is a standardised ceramic ultrafiltration package built on the Nanostone ceramic UF platform. Designed within a modular 40-foot containerized footprint, each installation delivers up to 10 MLD of RO-ready permeate, with recovery above 95 percent and turbidity below 0.1 NTU.

The system maintains stable performance through high-turbidity events, algal peaks, elevated organic carbon, and seasonal source water shifts, and removes pathogens and suspended solids. The system ships in standard containers with minimal civil works, and commissioning takes days rather than months. Target applications include municipal drinking water, RO pretreatment, industrial process water, wastewater reuse, and rapid-deployment treatment capacity for emergency response and pilot installations.

"The question among utilities and industrial operators is no longer whether ceramic ultrafiltration performs," said Juergen von Hollen, Chief Executive Officer of Acuriant Technologies. "It is how fast they can deploy it, and at what cost. The Containerized CUF System in combination with Nanostone’s CUF|Flow brings the economics into mainstream territory. For utilities and industrial users facing growing source-water volatility, ceramic ultrafiltration is moving from a specialist option to a credible infrastructure choice."

Technical insights at the SIWW Water Convention

Dr Christian Goebbert, Acuriant's Chief Technology Officer, will deliver two presentations at the SIWW Water Convention. The first introduces polyelectrolyte-modified ceramic UF membranes, extending ceramic UF into micropollutant removal, a treatment challenge conventional UF cannot meet. The second traces the CUF|Flow module from concept through pilot validation, manufacturing scale-up, and qualified field deployment. One presentation shows where ceramic UF capability is going. The other shows the innovation discipline it takes to get there.
